The Freelance Chronicles #12
I did it! One entire year of freelancing has been achieved. What a year to choose to go out on my own. Although I was faced with many challenges throughout the year, including lockdowns, house renovations happening around me, and so on, this year was still a success for me.
This year, I’ve learned that my skill set is highly desired, and that I’m very good at what I do. That may sound a bit pretentious, but in a world that likes to point out your flaws, it’s incredibly important you remind yourself you’re talented. Like much of the population, I’m known to suffer from imposter syndrome, but this year that syndrome was largely dormant, which has been a lovely change!
So, what are my goals for next year? Keep doing what I’m doing! But I do have a few minor tweaks to make to my 2021 freelancing experience:
Get outside more — work outside, go for more walks, move more.
Try working from different locations a bit more — try local cafes and venture further afield.
Attend more seminars and keep up to date with all the latest knowledge and trends in the content world.
Investigate more offerings I can bring to luu.
I’ve already got plenty to get stuck into when 2021 hits, and I’m so grateful and excited to get into it all.
